Letter Pieces is an ongoing series of short performance pieces that I began composing in 2007. They combine physical actions, text and sound. You can read more about them here.

To date there are nine Letter Pieces individually listed in the left side column below. Six of these are duos, one is for a dancing conductor and orchestra, and there are two quartets I made with Shila Anaraki.

Below you can see videos of different performances. In Letter Pieces performers create their own material, so two performances of the same Letter Piece sound and look very different.

I am now developing and expanding this work into an hour long piece with dancer Shila Anaraki for the Letter Piece Company.
